PintLeague is Dubai's independent ranking of Guinness pours. We rate every venue by the same five-dimension rubric - no advertising, no pay-to-play, no removal of ratings on request. If your pour is good, the table will say so.

How the score is built

Five dimensions, weighted
Pour, dome, glass temperature, pint quality, and atmosphere. Each scored 1–5. Pint quality carries 30%, pour and dome 20% each, glass temperature and atmosphere 15% each. Full rubric on the how we rate page.

Trust-weighted ratings
Ratings from accounts with fewer than three reviews are weighted lower until trust is earned. New raters can't dump-score their local.

Verified before publishing
Every rating and every new venue is reviewed by PintLeague before going live on the map.
- 04
Tiers, not just scores
Premier, Championship, Division One. A composite above a threshold earns promotion. A drop earns relegation. The table moves; the rubric doesn't.
Editorial policy
- All venue listings are verified by PintLeague before going live.
- Ratings from accounts with fewer than 3 reviews are weighted lower until trust is earned.
- Venues may flag factual errors - wrong address, wrong opening hours, wrong name. They may not request removal of ratings.
- PintLeague accepts no payment from venues. Complimentary pints are welcomed and disclosed nowhere - it's a pint, not an endorsement.
- Suspicious rating patterns (sudden volume from new accounts) are investigated and rolled back if confirmed inauthentic.

Can I pay to be ranked higher?+
No. We don't accept payment from venues for placement or score. The only way up the table is a better pour.
Can I get a rating removed?+
Only if it's clearly inauthentic (suspected fake, off-topic, or abusive). A bad rating that reflects a real visit stays up. The fix is a better pour next time.
What if my address or hours are wrong?+
Email us. Factual corrections are free and fast - usually same-day.
How often do tiers move?+
Continuously. As new ratings come in, the composite recalculates and the tier follows. We publish a monthly recap in the newsletter.
Can I see who rated my venue?+
No. Raters are pseudonymous to protect honest feedback. We do see the patterns, and we act on coordinated abuse.
